Schedule an Office Consultation
After you have attended a FREE BARIATRIC SEMINAR, you are now ready to schedule your initial office consultation with the surgeon of your preference. CLICK HERE to schedule online, or call (973) 410-9700.
During the initial consultation, the surgeon will exam you and review your medical history with you. You will discuss both the risks and benefits of bariatric surgery and decide if surgery is right for you.
Medical Clearance and Testing
After your initial consultation, your surgeon will advise you on what is needed prior to surgery. All patients must have a Psychological Evaluation, Nutritional Evaluation, Blood Testing, an EGD within the previous six months of the proposed surgery date, and completion of ClarityMD. Some patients may require additional testing based upon their medical history and individual risk factors. These tests may include, but are not limited to; EKG, Primary Care Clearance, Cardiovascular Clearance, Sleep Study / Pulmonary Clearance, Colonoscopy, Hematological Clearance and others as deemed appropriate.
